Toe River District held it's District Banquet on February 27th.  The district named Alpo Portelli as the recipient of the District Award of Merit. Thank you Alpo for all that you do for the youth and the district!

Also, Chris Tashner received the Medal of Merit for the act of saving his father's life when he was choking.  Congratulations Chris!  We are proud of you!

The Big Toe Awards for 2015 went to Skipper and Melissa Blair for all the hard work they do to help make the program for the boys of Toe River what it is!  Noah Blair also received quite a few prices for being the top seller of popcorn in Toe River.  Jonathan Thomas also received the Big Toe Award, the first youth to receive the award.  Thank you Jonathan for all your help at our camps and events.

Sean Byrd received the Exploring leadership award for his years of dedicated service to the Parkway Volunteer Fire Department Exploring Post 200 and Club 201.  Those are some lucky kids to Sean as their adviser!

Andrew Williams (Troop 888) and Jud Gowin (Pack 807) both received the Unit Leader Award of Merit for their dedicated service to their units.

Many other award were received by the very dedicated and totally awesome volunteers of Toe River District!

The banquet was wrapped up by the very talented Richard Hurley!  Thank you for sharing your music with us!
